Nilsen were the sole contractor upgrading the original cases installation into every Victorian State School. Nilsen Communications are still involved in connecting CASES schools, through DEET today.
Nilsen were one of the main contractors on the VIC 1 project, utilising our regional office in Morwell. Using our specialised engineering expertise at Nilsen Communications, we were able to assist DEET, as the sole contractor, to connect 80 MAC sites onto VIC1 across Victoria.
Nilsen Communications connected over 250 Catholic schools onto the catholic VPN last year. Our engineers visited Complex Catholic school sites and found solutions to connect them. Nilsen Communications assisted the Catholic Education Office, Project Managed some of the more difficult VPN sites where the knowledge base was not available at the school. Eg Radio Links, and Multi Sub Net through to Trenching and Heritage Building restrictions.
