Nilsen Townsville a part of Willows Shopping Centre’s grand plan to be four times bigger

The 20-year master plan calls for potential floor space of 82,500 square metres, extending on from the current 25,000 square metres.

The first stage of the redevelopment opened in October 2009 with an addition of a Big W store and Townsville’s biggest food court. As part of Dexus’ 20 year master plan, the next two stages will encompass a $75 million expansion comprising of a new Kmart and relocation of the existing Woolworths.

Nilsen are currently involved with the project, having been awarded the procurement portion of the project inclusive of High Voltage materials, transformers, switchgear and Main Switchboards.

Nilsen are also tendering the Electrical Package the remaining redevelopment works at present and hope to secure the contract for this major Commercial development in Townsville.
